David has a TESOL degree - Dip (T & M) TESOL validated by The College of Teachers, and teaches English to foreigners. David calls himself Word For Word and can operate from absolute beginner, through the learning stages to public examination standard. WFW works on a flexible 1:1, small group or corporate group basis using city-centre informal locations in Carlisle and north Cumbria.
David is an elected Fellow of the College (FCollT) which is awarded to "Individuals who hold high academic qualifications related to education or who have made a significant contribution to educational literature or to educational management at a senior level."
